I am trying to simplify my tool bars.
I have followed system under help

Tools>Customize>Menu
Typed in CUSTOMIZE and hit enter

I have then dragged unwanted tool from toolbar this then turns into a standalone tool ( which can be closed)
I have also set level to beginner and unchecked Intermediate and
advanced.
All with no avail
The tools I am trying to disable or remove are the zoom, namely Dynamic, In, Out,
Any thought please

Hello Toopie,

Not sure we understand exactly - are you trying to turn of the entire STANDARD toolbar or just customize it by removing selected icons from it?

To turn off a progeCAD Toolbar:
Menu -> Tools -> Customize -> Toolbar ->
uncheck the toolbar from the visibility list

To remove specific icons from a progeCAD toolbar:
Menu -> Tools -> Customize -> Toolbar -> CLICK "CUSTOMIZE"
progeCAD will now enter toolbar customize mode
Drag unwanted icons from any toolbar into drawing space.
Insert new icons from the icon lists provided.

Trying to turn of specific icons,
Have followed what you said to a tee, however when the icon is dragged to the drawing space, it does not leave the toolbar, it stays in the drawing space

Hello Toopie,

Sorry we cannot reproduce your problem. As said before, be sure that you have the "Toolbars" tab open while you drag icons from the toolbar into the draw area for removal. This places the progeCAD toolbar interface into "edit" mode as shown below:

Be sure that the icon displays a small black "X" on it as you are dragging it off the toolbar - as shown above (see the cursor in the image).
