Hello together,


Mathcad is visual & symbolic scientific calculation software for solving complex industrial, business and engineering problems. In Australia it is possible to download Mathcad here and register quickly for a 30-day temporary license without a product key. There are several steps involved, so we provide this step-by-step instruction.

Download Mathcad from the following URL. You will be asked to register for a free CADstore account if you don't already have one:

Save the installer program to your hard disk and run it as the local system administrator, at which point it will begin to unzip itself:



These are the next few screens you will see as you select first "Install Trial" then in the next window click "Mathcad 14.0 M..." then accept the license agreement and click NEXT as shown below:








Now the Mathcad installer will ask for a USER and COMPANY name. You can type anything here. BUT LEAVE THE PRODUCT CODE BLANK.

When you click NEXT, Mathcad sees the empty product code and asks if you want to install the EVALUATION VERSION of MATHCAD Continue? CLICK YES as shown below:




Now Mathcad is about to be installed as a trial version. The next dialogue asks for a location to install Mathcad. Leave this with the default shown and click NEXT:



Mathcad begins installing. Once Mathcad software finishes copying to the hard disk, the Mathcad installer asks to "Run the License Setup Wizard" - select YES - you will NEED to say YES to start the wizard have the temporary license generated. NOTE THAT YOUR PC WILL NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET FOR THIS.





Select ONLINE activation:



You will now be asked if you want to create a PTC Web Account. CLICK "Create Account" unless you already have one. *If you don't know what this button means, then you definitely need to click it.



It will open up a web browser to ptc.com to create a new web account for activating the evaluation license. You will need to fill this out and then click "Create Account ->" as shown below:



After clicking "Create Account ->"



Once the account is created we go back to the box where we clicked "Create Account" the first time and now click NEXT. Mathcad assumes at this point that we have a PTC web account and asks for the username and password (the email address is the username):



Note again - this is the same email and username which we just entered before to register the web account on the internet. NOW CLICK THE FINISH BUTTON.
