Hi there

Thanks for a great explanation for ESNAPing to a point and reading the coordinates at the following thread: http://www.caddit.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=526

However, when I view the point coordinates, they are only displayed to 2 decimal places - I wish to view to 3 decimal places. I entered these points to 3 decimal places, and I wish to retrieve coords to that same level of accuracy.

Please assist.

Thanks
Kind regards
John

Select from pull-down menu.

Tools--> Drawing Settings to display Menu

Make sure Linear Dimensions are selected (Default) you can also select others.

Select 3 at Display Precision

This will display 3 decimal places in the Co-ordinates display along the command line information and return 3 decimal places when listing selections.

Thanks
Have made the changes - I actually already had 4 decimal places selected. I then snapped a point with only 2 decimal places displaying from within the Properties box under major heading of Geometry and sub-heading of Vertex there was no coordinate information showing in the Command line area. I am using ProgeCAD 2009 Smart.
Kind regards
