Hello,

I 'm wondering that some dwg files, saved on a server, can not opend by Autocad.
Does someone has a solution or a cause of it?
Kind regards,

Rob

Dear Robby,

Can you be a little more specific? Are you getting a single error message or multiple messages? What is the error(s)? Which version of AutoCAD is involved? What version of Windows / Linux are you using for a network server? Do you have a domain configured? Are the files always visible on the server and just getting an error when trying to open them or they can't be seen at all?

Once before when a user had server storage issues with AutoCAD it turned out to be the network and user rights configuration. When they copied the file over with a memory stick it opened just fine. Another user was simply saving files to a different folder than he thought he was  Otherwise we are not aware of it being much of an issue.

Please read our reply carefully and supply as much detail as you can for the questions above. Thank you.

it was a general network problem, but they didn't told mev the solution.
