Hello

i use ProgeSoft jpg Printer 2010 and ProgreSoft PDF 2010 to plot.

I want to change the settings Resolution (dpi) for a Layout per Visual Basic.
Then all my drawings are autmatically created by a Programm Visual Basic.
I do not want to change it manually.

Thank you

Hello ftauto,

First progeCAD doesn't really work with VB.net yet per say (although this may change soon), it still uses the older VBA based API.

That being said . . you of course understand that we do not get many requests from our CAD users for VBA access to plot resolution settings (from the VBA object explorer you can see many aspects of printing can be automated via VBA, but DPI is not one of those)

What kind of proprietary VBA methods does AutoCAD offer for plotting DPI setting?

thank you for your answer.

So I must change the dpi settings in the regestriy ?

I do not know how it works by Auto Cad.

Thank you

Hi ftauto,

It may be possible to do so, but direct or programmed changes to the system registry need to made with great care, and are certainly outside of the scope of progeCAD support offered on this forum.

This is one case as developer where you blazing the trail yourself.
