Am a novice enjoying ProgeCAD Pro 2010 very much. Within ProgeCAD how does one load various line types? All I've found so far are center, hidden and solid.

Hello Carl Johnson,

There are multiple ways to define additional linetypes in progeCAD, probably the easiest is just to use progeCAD Explorer. progeCAD Explorer is something different in progeCAD from AutoCAD, and so this concept may be new to you.

progeCAD Explorer can be used not only to manage and create line types in progeCAD, but also manage blocks, text and dimension styles, layers and more. To start progeCAD Explorer you can:

Press default hotkey CTRL+2 (number two) or -
Main menu -> Tools -> progeCAD Explorer

Once inside progeCAD Explorer, from the top menu select EDIT -> NEW -> LINETYPE
This will open a dialogue box which will allow you to either create and define a new linetype, or import one from your local icadiso.lin file. This sequence is shown in the composite screen shot below:

It is worth anyone's while to get familiar with the progeCAD Explorer toolbox - a lot can be quickly controlled in a drawing from here.

Hope that helps.
