Whenever I stretch or rotate objects that have been hatched (from a drawing previously produced in AutoCad) the hatching either stays in the same position or goes haywire & spills out of the hatch area.
What do I need to do to prevent this?

Thanks

Hello Peter Nixon,

1) What version of progeCAD are you using?

2) What version of AutoCAD does the DWG file originally come from?

3) Was the original hatch made using the HATCH or BHATCH command?

4) Do you have all layers on and thawed?

5) Have you checked the AutoCAD file using the AUDIT command?

Just type the word "audit" into the progeCAD command line and press the enter key. When asked to automatically fix errors, indicate "No" at this point you just want the report of how many errors detected.

Total errors found during audit 1, fixed 0

Now save a copy of the file under a new name and try AUDIT again but type Yes for "Fix any errors" this time.

Then AUDIT again and see if the error is gone to 0 errors found.

Then try your hatch boudary change. BTW I would also make sure all layers are ON when you try this.

Keep in mind that progeCAD itself only maintains boudary associativity with the new BHATCH command not the older HATCH command.
