Hi,

This is my first post with what I would guess is a noob question. When the limits are set at 0,0 and 1000,700, say for a drawing in mm, the dimension text is extremely small.

I've checked out the dimension style box. If the text size is set so that it appears legible on the example drawings, it still remains illegibly small in the drawing.

Thanks for any help

OK, I've got a partial solution but not complete. I'm able to increase the text size thru the dim style>text>text height variable, but this seems to max out at 7.78. I've increased the value above this but it reverts back to 7.78.

Is there a system variable that needs to be changed?

Actually, I saw your 30 second nutshell yesterday and printed it out as a useful bit of documentation (certainly for a beginner). Setting DIMSCALE to 2 works OK.

Thanks for your help.
