This has happened twice now.
When opening a drawing file - the model space has been converted to a layout space.
So when you select all the entities in layout space and paste back into the model space - an invalid error message pops up.
I also cant save the drawing with out the error message popping up.
The only way I found to get around the problem is to save as into a different name - unfortunately I am not sure if I have the full drawings intact.
I've never encountered this in Autocad - this occurrance seems to be a glitch in Progecad.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Hi nmunoz,

Basically the drawing file is corrupt. This can usually be avoided in progeCAD by practicing regular drawing "housekeeping" before corruption occurs, as described here:

However if the AutoCAD file comes from an older version of software such as AutoCAD LT 2004 etc your only choice may be attempt to salvage what you can as described here:
