Hello all,

This is information for anyone using progeCAD Professional CAD who tries to adjust the "Properties" for the progeCAD PDF printer and sees an error message "The parameter is incorrect" as shown below:

More errors saying "Pease enter an integer" may follow when we try to change the paper size at this point and the whole ambiguity can be a bit alarming. But the problem is simple.

When starting a new drawing from progeCAD 2010 Professional, the PDF printer may default to null paper size. This default size is actually invalid (explaining "parameter is incorrect"). The following errors "Pease enter an integer" refers to integer size for the paper.

To stop both errors in the current progeCAD session, simply select a paper size other than null (Blank), cancel printing, and re-start the Print dialogue. The paper size will now show the last selected size and the errors will be gone.

To make this fix permanent, you will need to save the empty drawing with the changed PDF paper size over the default blank DWT file (depending whether you use English or Metric paper sizes):
either
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\progeSOFT\progeCAD\R10\Professional - English\English.dwt
or
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\progeSOFT\progeCAD\R10\Professional - English\Metrics.dwt

The error has been forwarded to manufacturer and a better fix for it may come in the future.
