When trying to print a detail in progecad using the monochrome plot style the print preview still shows the lines in colour, how can I change this?

Welcome greenspree,

We can't reproduce the problem here using progeCAD 10.0.6.23 monochrome.ctb or greyscale.ctb all preview as expected. First, can you please confirm this behaviour with all printers, or is it specific to just one? Is this behaviour consistent with all DWG files (even new ones) or just certain ones?

You are selecting "monochrome.ctb" as the Print Style Table from the "Advanced" tab of the print dialog before you do your preview correct? Have you also tried "greyscale.ctb"?

It could be that the settings in the plot style table .ctb file have themselves changed. You can check it using progeCAD's ctb editor. Just click on the "edit" button in the section "Print Style Table (Pen Assignments) section of the aforementioned dialog tab. You can also open the "monochrome.ctb" file directly from the progeCAD menu -> File -> Print Style Manager. Double-click on "monochrome.ctb" to open it in the editor.

With greyscale.ctb for example, one can double check if the "Convert to Greyscale" attribute is set to "On" for each and every one of the color columns listed horizontally, as shown below:

Monocrome.ctb works a little differently - - it "maps" the color black directly to every drawing color name assignment (no greyscale). This is the setting "Color" two rows above "Convert to Greyscale" in the table above. Make sure this is also the case for you, not set to "use object color" like you see here.
