There are a few ways of doing this in progeCAD that would be similar in
AutoCAD. For setting just a few dimensions this way you can specify an exact vector from the dimension's origin using AutoCAD vector notation (called
Relative Polar coordinates):
for placement of the dimension text (be sure to adjust "90" to the actual direction you want the dimension to be located at). Using SNAP/GRID could also give you a quicker approximate effect depending on your
snap resolution.
