I'm using ProgeCAD 8.0.14
At the moment I am trying to use Layouts in the way I was used in ACAD. I have problem.
Resizing viewports works sometime unexpectedly. It is not worst. Worse is:
In Layouts Undo works unreliably. Changes in origin(?)UCS cannot be undone. It is not worst. Worse is:
Not changed and not selected Layouts became corrupted.
I think points 2 and 3 should are verz annoying.

Less important problems:

Printer setup is not reliably stored. Especialy confused with print style table sometime returning to none.
When resizing viewport snaps don't work.
Is it possible to use polyline as boundary of viewport?
What? reference point for print offset?

Have You any idea?

Hello Kapr,

Let's take this one by one.

What changes are you making to the UCS in paperspace?

How are the non-selected viewports being "corrupted"?

Printer setup is not reliably stored. Especialy confused with print style table sometime returning to none.
When resizing viewport snaps don't work.
Is it possible to use polyline as boundary of viewport?
What? reference point for print offset?

We have been able to reproduce some of this at CADDIT as well. We are looking into it and will advise ASAP.

Thanks for posting!

For me it looks, that major problems appear only in drawnings and complex layouts created by cooperant working with AutoCAD. I've tried to create simple drawning in ProgeCAD, but I wasn't able to replicate problems. So, I must prepare "anonymized" file to post it in public area. I'll try to do it ASAP.
P.S.
I've found publicly avaliable Autocad compatibility test drawnings created to be as much incompatible, as possible. Are You interested? They contain layout croped by polyline that show some incompatibility.

hello Kapr,

Try to be as specific as possible in future posts if you are able. Yes, we have received various test suites. They usually comprise dozens of individual blocks and drawings.

Can you please specify *which* drawing of the aforementioned DWG test suite you found this "incompatibility"? Thanks!

And also please advise ASAP as to your customer DWG file URL.

You can also email the files to us:

Thanks!

Kapr,
please be more specific: what do you mean with "corrupt" layout?

When I resize layout viewport by process:
1. select viewport
2. snap its right upper definition point
3. move it to different position defined usualy directly by entering coordinates x,y

Layout and viewport looks as expected.
When I choose Unfo (from toolbar):
viewport size is restored, but model has moved inside viewport.

There is not restored previous state.

Previous post describes how layout became corrupted I am working on. Sometimes it seems, that can be damaged other layout, but I am not able to reproduce it in descriptive way.
